Homemade Granita

It takes hours to complete, because it has to be chilled, frozen, and stirred over and over.  But if you're home one morning or evening for a few hours, this is well worth all of the steps:

I saw it in a BH&G special edition and the fruity/tart taste, the color, and the texture of this frozen dessert satisfies completely
