Frito Pie with a Twist

Frito pie with a somewhat healthi-er twist!

Brown 1lb ground sirloin, along with chopped onion and spiralized carrots!  Season well with your favorite Mexican seasonings like chili powder and season salt...to taste.  Add salsa and drained and rinsed black beans at the end, and stir until heated through.

Grate cheese (I used pepper jack and cheddar).

On a bed of fritos, place the meat mixture and cheese.  Serve with sliced avocado. (I had both chili cheese fritos and original).

The carrots and black beans add flavor, without all the juice of a traditional chili.
